Justice Overview

Our mission calls us to bring our faith into action in the world to advance justice. Many of our Seven Principles (our core values) relate to building a more just and equitable world. We covenant to affirm and promote:

• The inherent worth and dignity of all people
• Justice, equity and compassion in human relations
• The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all
• Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part

We do this through our Justice Ministry teams:

UU Justice Arizona (UUJAZ)

In addition to our own Justice Ministry teams, members of UUCP participate with UU Justice Arizona (UUJAZ), a network of eleven AZ UU congregations. UUJAZ coordinates and promotes statewide justice efforts among UUs, including our annual UU Day at the Legislature. See the UUJAZ web page for more information, or visit their Facebook page.
