We visited the Cusco region of Peru in June, 2021. This usually popular tourist destination was unusually quiet due to the pandemic. We were able to explore Incan ruins in the Sacred Valley, Cusco and Machu Picchu without any crowds. We also met with weavers, hiked with llamas, visited the Maras Saltpans and witnessed a presidential election! The Peruvian people were very appreciative of our visit and their hospitality along with the scenery, wonderful food and Pisco sours made this truly memorable trip. ~ Lonni Smith
