In June 2018, Bill and Joy Mee spent three weeks exploring Lake Garda’s ancient and modern city of Sirmione, Venice, and nearby islands. They joined a cruise ship, which stopped in Rab, Croatia; Kotor, Montenegro; and various ports in Greece including Corfu, Olympia, Spetes, Crete, Santorini (with a stop in Kusadasi and Ephesus, Turkey in between) Volos and Makrintsa before disembarking in Pireaus/Athens. They saw lots of historical sites and evidence of ancient civilizations as well as beautiful scenery and gardens. In Athens, they visited the Acropolis Museum.
