Does your house celebrate with a real tree? What do you do with it when you’re done? Save it this year and let us turn it into a bundled Yule Log! Come New Year 2023, you can sit by the warmth of an outdoor fire and contemplate the good and bad memories of 2022.
Kids Kamp will be hosting a tree binding service the weekend of January 14-16. Drop off your tree in the UUCP upper parking lot and for a donation, Kids Kamp staff will cut and bundle your tree into a beautiful Yule Log to burn next year.
Details
- Tree drop-off will be Friday, Jan 14 from 5-7pm and Saturday, Jan 15 from 11am-3pm
- You can pick up your completed yule logs on Sunday, Jan 16 from 4-5:30pm
- Both drop-off and pick-up will be in the upper parking lot
- We will be offering two packages:
- Basic – tree cut and bound with twine; suggested donation $30
- Premium – tree cut and bound with twine, then wrapped in burlap; suggested donation $50
- To make the logs smaller and more manageable to burn, trees can be bundled into 2 or 3 logs; suggested donation additional $10 per log
- Payment is due upon pick-up
