“How can the dead be truly dead when they still live in the souls of those who are left behind?” ~ Carson McCullers

We often feel sadness in our hearts for those we have lost. Yet it is food for the soul to remember the best things about those who have traveled on from this life into the next. Join Sacred Earth Worship Group (previously Women’s Ritual Group) in honoring those who have passed on while the veil between the living world and worlds of the dead are said to be thinnest.

Whether you celebrate Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, Samhain, or another holiday, we invite you to bring a photo to pin or rest near the board, or other memento to lay on the table in The Johnson Room. The board will be there as a way to pay respects to our lost loved ones by displaying something to help us remember them and welcome them to join us. We will meet after service at 11:45am out on The Patio, where we will honor them with briefly shared memories and discuss the future of the Sacred Earth Worship Group

(If you would like assistance printing a photo of a lost loved one for the board please contact Lissa Howe and she will try to assist you by printing a photo and bringing it to pin on the board.)

Sacred Earth Worship Group celebrates diversity. We love the differences that make you special and unique and we look forward to having you with us to enrich our community. Regardless of your age or gender we are honored and excited to have you join us as we celebrate the beauties and challenges of life and death.
