The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix strives to be a spiritual community for our time, focused on diverse theological perspectives, radical inclusion, and knowing that issues of justice and equity shape everything we do.
With a special awareness for those who have been historically marginalized, we welcome all, of every race, class, ethnicity, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious background, mental and physical ability and disability. We welcome your whole self, your family into our worship as we build a community of caring, courage, and hope.
We are passionate about anti-racism, anti-oppression, equality, and justice work. Social justice is not just a component of our ministry; it is embedded into every part of us. We strive for a multicultural anti-oppression presence in every aspect of what we do, including worship, outreach, and even committee work.
In order to act in all the ways that support our values, we need to support ourselves, including our staff, to be able to make our programming a reality and fulfill our commitments to our community. We are working on a zero balance budget and making sacrifices in order to live into the budget and prepare to renew our commercial credit line which includes our mortgage. We all agree that we would like to do more. But first we must meet our budget goal.

A UU who has moved here from Seattle is looking for a ride on Sundays. They are disabled from a stroke and cannot drive, live in north Scottsdale near the Princess, and have a service dog who will come also. If you are interested in possibly helping, please contact the Caring Ministry Team for more information.
Building renovation is happening at UUCP. Some of these renovations will be happening during the month of July and first week of August as those changes must happen before our new tenants arrive and in time for our next programming year.
