We are challenged by AZ legislators who have proposed bills that derail public education: withholding funding, allowing loaded guns on campus, banning books, micromanaging teachers, and outing LGBTQ students to their parents. Wes leads the Rhythm is Life Steel Band and the Phoenix College percussion studio, and keeps busy performing and teaching percussion of all kinds. He’s excited to share his love of steelpan with us!
