All interested community members are invited!
Orientation is designed to equip new and returning volunteers and staff with the knowledge and skills needed to create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for our children. You’ll learn about our UU values, integrated ministry, and best practices for engaging children in spiritual growth and community building. We will cover important safety protocols, including background checks, supervision guidelines, and emergency procedures. Additionally, you’ll receive training on how to effectively facilitate activities, handle behavioral issues, and support diverse needs within our community.
This orientation is also a chance to meet fellow volunteers and staff, share ideas, and build a cohesive team dedicated to making a positive impact on our youngest members. Lunch and Childcare will be provided. Please register at Children’s Ministry Team Orientation.
