UUCP’s service on Sunday, March 13, features the American roots music of Mikel Lander and Meridith Moore, the couple at the core of one of Phoenix’ most popular bands, The Sugar Thieves. Meridith’s deep, sultry voice and Mikel’s gritty guitar picking and raspy vocals create powerful sets of blues, country, folk, gospel and rock and roll.
