Sunday Services
Sunday services are the heart of our time as a community. Each of our services is unique, with a focus drawn from a range of theological and social justice topics, but there are certain things you can expect: a chalice lighting, shared Joys and Sorrows, great music, a strong sense of community, and a sermon or alternative way to share the message of the week. We encourage visitors to attend at least 3 services during the process of deciding whether UUCP is the right choice for them.
We are committed to making our worship services available to all—in person on the campus or online for those who can’t or prefer not to attend in person for any reason. While the energy in the sanctuary is electric, our services are also broadcast via Zoom meetings, live-streamed on our YouTube channel, and can be viewed after each service on our Past Worship Services page. A post with the link to the YouTube live stream is shared on our Facebook page, and the link to each Sunday’s service is published in our weekly Compass email newsletter.
Other Ways to Connect
After each Sunday service, in addition to an in-person gathering on the UUCP campus, we gather together for Coffee Hour. We offer both an in-person experience as well as an online version. You are welcome to join to meet and chat with congregation members. Information about accessing these sessions is in each week’s Compass email newsletter.
If you are curious about what types of connections are available throughout our congregation, we encourage you to explore our wide range of groups and committees that support the congregation, each other, and our wider community.
You can also follow us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube channel for periodic updates on what’s going on within the congregation, and, of course, subscribe to our weekly Compass email newsletter.
