Update on Summer of 2009 Construction
The contract for 2009 Construction that includes the new new sign, fire alarm and sprinkler system, and windows for the 1965 Annex was signed on November 23, 2009.
Loan: The loan has been approved.
Building Permit: The Town of Paradise Valley has issued the building permit. The permit has been renewed at no additional cost and now expires on 9/7/2010.
Builder's Risk Insurance: A one-year policy effective July 1st, 2009 was obtained through Hill and Usher Insurance.
Fire Line: The 4” main fire line taps into the existing line that feeds the 2001 structure just west of it, and is routed north, just outside the play area and end at the 1961 classroom wing north end. The 1961 building fire riser is located in the custodial closet
Sprinkler System: The fire sprinkler system installation in the 1961 and 1965 buildings is complete.
Fire Alarms: The fire alarm system installation in the 1961 and 1965 buildings is complete.
Doors/Windows: New doors and windows are installed in the 1965 building.
Sign: The new sign is installed and the old sign was removed in a ceremony on May 23, 2010.
