Welcome from the Music Director
As Music Director, part of my responsibility is to weekly bring to the congregation music which empowers, teaches, and inspires. Toward that end, I program music with thoughtful texts and stirring or meditative rhythms. And some is just fun. When singing the music of the traditions of others, we strive to honor their traditions in our performance. When singing the music of UUs, we strive to be true to ourselves.
Making music is creative, rewarding, inspiring, and just plain fun. In our hearts we are all musicians. Please consider attending some rehearsals to learn first-hand how great it can be, and explore the music opportunities available at UUCP.
